President Opela called the regular meeting of the Stapleton Public Schools Board of Education to order at 7:00 p.m. on May 16, 2022, in the library at Stapleton Public Schools.

Bryan Regier gave his Community Liaisons' report which included: April Chamber meeting, community clean-up day was successful, Foundation approved grants for staff, Accelerated Reading goals picnic celebration and elementary field day.

Activities Director Report
Discussion:
The Activities Director's report given by Eric Kloke included the following: Tad Dimmitt, Jaylen Fowler, Jaxton Starr, Isaac Goosey and Colin Rooney qualified for State Track, Cole Kramer made it to State Golf with the team placing well in each meet, congratulations to all those athletes.

Principal Walker's report included: driver's education summer course, preschool projection numbers, summer school, technology committee meeting and Megan Amos was named as a 2022 Academic All-Star in the North Platte Telegraph.

The American Civics Committee presented highlights from their meeting.

Superintendent Redinger's report presented information on the following: employment needs, director of maintenance position offered, kindergarten, upper elementary, secondary business/technology, para-educators, bus drivers, building project/final punch list and school replacement van.
