President Opela called the regular meeting of the Stapleton Public Schools Board of Education to order at 3:08 p.m. on Monday, December 19, 2022, in the library at Stapleton Public Schools.

The treasurer's report was presented by Superintendent Redinger.

Bryan Regier's Community Liaisons' report included: November Chamber meeting highlights, annual Christmas concerts with great turnout, upcoming honor band and choirs performances and spelling bee.

Activities Director Report
Discussion:
There was not an Activities Director's report except to congratulate the one-act play production students and coaches for placing 4th at State.

Principal
Discussion:
Principal Gleisberg's report included: current enrollment, instruction observations, math and language arts curriculum, January 3rd in-service, ASVAB testing, down list-watch list, semester finals and congratulations to Mr. Halstead on his terrific book fair which generated around $680 for books in the library.

Board Committee Reports: School Improvement, Curriculum (January: Coop)
Discussion:
The negotiation committee has met twice with the teachers and gave highlights from the meeting.
The curriculum committee met with Mr. Gleisberg and highlights were presented. |

Superintendent
Discussion:
Superintendent Redinger's report presented information on the following: hallway gates, future of sports coop discussion, cottonwood tree removal, installation of a hand washing station in the kitchen and small drain and water source in freezer room, school policies, Title I Federal program reviews and 2nd annual girls wrestling tournament a success.
