Discussion:
President F. Kramer called the regular meeting of the Stapleton Public Schools Board of Education to order at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, November 11, 2024, in the library at Stapleton Public Schools.

Discussion:
Mr. Redinger and Connell presented highlights from the Senator's Roundtable held on October 22nd.

Discussion:
Notice of the meeting was published in the Stapleton Enterprise on Thursday, November 7, 2024, and posted at five local businesses along with notice to the president of the board and all members prior to the meeting date.

Public Comment and Recognition of Visitors
Discussion:
President F. Kramer asked if there was any public comment and referred to the guidelines in the agenda.
President Kramer thanked the veterans at the meeting which included Jeremiah Johnson and Morgan Hecox. Duane McClain congratulated the three board members that were re-elected to the board during the election. |

Discussion:
The treasurer's report was presented by Superintendent Redinger.

Community Liaison
Discussion:
Bryan Regier gave his Community Liaisons' report which included: annual Elementary Halloween Parade, Trunk or Treat downtown on Main Street, Veterans Day Program with fantastic jobs by all the elementary, junior high and high school groups presenting various patriotic songs, and plans are being made for Christmas Around Town and receipt drawing at the grocery store.

Activities Director Report
Discussion:
The Activities Director's report given by Jeremiah Johnson included the following: completion of fall sports with State Competition in football and cross country, winter sports begin November 18th and number of participants, FFA trip to Indiana update and thanking the board for helping with expenses and allowing them to attend, AD Conference in Kearney update, winter sports coaches, MNAC Choir, fall coaching evaluations to be completed and Co-op Board Meeting on Monday, November 25th, 6:00 p.m. at Stapleton.

Principal
Discussion:
7-12 Principal Johnson's report included: history and business are the content areas spotlighted this month, seniors eligible to vote went to the courthouse to vote on November 5th and others watched the process along with Mr. Johnson and Mrs. Joedeman, juniors took ASVAB test and received praise from the person that administered the test, kudos to the NHS students and sponsor for their work with Red Ribbon Week, Applied Tech Day at MPCC with Mrs. Joedeman is November 13th and Student Transition Day will be held at MPCC McCook on November 14th with Ms. Kevorkian.
PK-6 Principal Isom reported on the following: filling up a second bulletin board with RARE Awards, Parent/Teacher Conferences well attended, Halloween Parade, Veterans Day Celebration, Book Swap, Book Fair, K-3 grade Thanksgiving Play on November 26 at 2:00 in Bronco Room and beginning of library accreditation. |
