Discussion:
Rod Hanson then addressed the council on behalf of Olsson. Hanson stated there were three bids opened on February 6th, and Steve Harris Construction was the low bidder at $426,669.28. He recommended the council accept the bid. Hanson and the council briefly discussed adding sidewalk to areas along the project that currently don't have any.

Approve plans for 6th Street Paving Project

Discussion:
Hanson then told the council that plans to pave 6th Street from Main Street to Winter Street were ready to be advertised. Hanson said, if approved, the plans would be advertised on February 20th, 27th, and March 5th. Bids would be opened on March 10th, then approved at the March 11, 2020 council meeting. Hanson stated that two inlets would be added to increase storm water drainage to prevent future flooding.
