Discussion:
Taylor Kube joined the meeting via ZOOM on behalf of Olsson. He said the decrease in price was due to quantity changes of the sub-grade prep work.

Kube stated this Pay Request #1 from Steve Harris Construction included the entire project but 5% retainage to be held back while the contractors worked on a few punch list items. Kube said by the regular meeting in August the project should be completed and closed out.

Discussion:
Kube said Change Order #2 for the South Main Paving Project was a result of replacing extra sections of concrete on the existing Street to the immediate north of the paving project that were broken up and deteriorated.

Discussion:
Craig Reinsch addressed the council on behalf of Olsson. He said he visited the fourth proposed site currently owned by Christensen Well & Irrigation prior to the meeting and it would likely be sufficient for the new Water Treatment Plant. Reinsch stated that he thought there was room for a driveway approach without having to tube the drainage ditch to the east as previously thought. Attorney Miner stated that a public hearing would have to be held before purchase could take place, but that a resolution could be passed authorizing the Mayor to sign the necessary documents.

Passage of Resolution 11-2020 for Sales Tax ballot question
Discussion:
The council discussed Resolution 11-2020, which would approve the 2020 Sales Tax ballot question. Attorney Theresa Miner stated that the ballot question had to be filed to the county clerk by September 1, 2020. Two town hall meetings are scheduled in July for feedback from that public that will likely change the final version that goes on the ballot. No action was taken.
