13.A.1. Back To School Update
Discussion:
Superintendent Kevin Case commented on the smooth start of the school year even with the middle school construction.

13.A.2. DODEA OLDCC Grant Invitation Update
Discussion:
Superintendent Kevin Case shared information on the DODEA OLDCC grant invitation process for the $20 million DCIP grant. Final paperwork was submitted last week. The district has hired someone for the Federal Grant Administrator and Grant Writer position, and a meeting is scheduled next week with HUD.

13.A.3. DMS Construction Update
Discussion:
Superintendent Kevin Case shared that the middle school bus loop is working well for dropping off students; the middle school parking lot is complete, and contractors were pouring the concrete today for the addition. The City will be adding sidewalks in the area along 225th as part of the Safe Routes to School grant.

15. Tour of District Facilities
Discussion:
Board members, administrators, and department coordinators toured the district facilities with each administrator showcasing either things that are happening in their building or improvements being implemented.
