1. Attendance
Discussion:
Also in attendance were Mary Kay Haun and Tim Meisner.

2. Site Tour

2.1. Carpet for 2 Rooms
Discussion:
Principal Haun showed the committee the condition of carpeting in the library, where it is unraveling, in room 112, where it is buckling, and in room 108, where it is worn threadbare. Haun requested at least two of the rooms be recarpeted as a summer project. The committee confirmed that this project would be a priority on the Master Facilities List and suggested that the third room could be done pending Lincoln construction costs.

3. Student Drug Testing (Reasonable Cause & Random)
Discussion:
Winn stated that she is aware of significant parental support in favor of drug testing students who particpate in sports and/or extra curriculur activities. Doll and Brunner also expressed their support of this proposal and asked that it be included on the next Personnel Committee agenda as a discussion item.

4. Old Business

4.1. Water Coolers at High School
Discussion:
Winn presented a copy of Federal Legislation from a Presidential Act in December of 2010 that states all children will have access to free drinking water during meals and recommends one water fountain for every 150 students. Meisner informed the committee that additional water coolers will be installed by Snells at the High School over the holiday break.

4.2. RFP for Phase V of High School Window Project
Discussion:
Meisner explained that Requests for Proposals for the replacement of windows at the High School have been distributed and are expected back by January 6th. Baker & Associates made sure the RFP has current information on it. Cost for this project is estamated at around $260,000.

4.3. RFP for Cabling at Lincoln (eta 12/13)
Discussion:
Requests for Proposals for cabling at the new Lincoln Elementary site were sent out last Friday. Bids will be opened on December 13th.

4.4. Installation of Cafeteria Tables at Northfield
Discussion:
Paul Reed Construction will be installing the new cafeteria tables at Northfield over the holiday break.
