Discussion:
The meeting was called to order at 12:10 p.m.

More Information:
The Board of Education reserves the right to enter into Executive Session for the protection of the public interest; or the prevention of needless injury to the reputation of an individual, and if the individual has not requested a public meeting.

2.2. Notice of this meeting was published in the Gering Courier on Thursday, November 19, 2020.

3. Reports and Discussions

3.1. Superintendent Search - NASB Representative Shari Becker
Discussion:
NASB has been instrumental in the search process, so the school board was able to focus on two main goals: selecting finalists and narrowing the list of interview questions.

4. Executive Session for the protection of public interest related to the interview selection process.
|
|
5. Adjourn
Discussion:
During closed session, all thirteen applications were reviewed. Upon returning to open session, school board members individually announced their top four candidates with a unanimous selection. Next, they reviewed final preparations to be made over the course of the next week. The meeting was adjourned at 2:24 p.m.
