7.2. Business/Facilities Committee Report
Discussion:
We went over accounts payable.
We went over Ending Fund Balances. Had an update from Alan Doll on the JR High, the city was helping, this line we need to tie into handles 40% of the city’s sewer so it’s very important it gets done correctly. Alan mentioned the commons area floor was in very bad shape, so they plan to put concrete in and polish it rather than trying to re tile it. Alan also stated he is hopeful to still stay on budget (this includes the gym floor) and still plan to be completely done by the end of August. Curt Hanson was also present and at this time and he filled us in on the Geil Elementary RFP for the roof. He also mentioned the engineers were out on the 7th for the HVAC at the Jr. High and they were going to get back to us with 4 to 5 options to replace our current system. We discussed the Esser III, this could be what we use to fund the new HVAC at Jr. High as we are very limited as to what we can use these funds, but the HVAC is one of the things we can use it for. Before we can use we must have a plan in place and also involvement from Parents. We were given a current timeline for the tennis courts. Last, Tim shared with us he will be done at the end of the month but have us contracted with some help to keep things going smooth until we can hire a replacement. |
