1. GPS Board of Education Information

The meeting agenda will be kept current and available for public inspection in the office of the Secretary of the Board of Education at the Central Office during regular working hours.

The Open Meetings Act requires and the intention of the Board is that agenda items be sufficiently descriptive to give the public reasonable notice of matters to be considered at the meeting. The Board of Education releases its agenda well in advance of most meetings and desires that all interested persons are fully informed. Any interested person who has a question or needs clarification about the sufficiency of a descriptive item should contact the office of the Superintendent of Schools. Agenda items are subject to reordering at the discretion of the board president. Board members may request specific agenda item(s) be moved to a different place on the agenda. Please attend the entire meeting to ensure you hear discussion on a particular agenda item. |

3. Reports and Discussions

3.1. HVAC Bid Update
More Information:
The bid meeting for the GJHS HVAC Project is taking place today, May 24, 2022, at 2:00 pm. More details to come once all bid's are received.
Discussion:
Dr. Regan reported in regards to the HVAC project. As of now, the project start date will be the summer of 2023. We have faced issues with contractors turning in bids, as this is such a monstrous project. The district has been in contact with the engineers at Kucerik, and more details are to come once we receive the finalized bids.

4. Action Items

4.1. Discuss, consider, and take action regrading approval of bids presented by the following companies for the tennis site improvements (Earth Works). Bid recap is as follows:
Anderson-Shaw Construction $227,026.69 Mark Chrisman Trucking Inc. $180,484.82 Paul Reed Construction $217,640.69 A request for proposals was posted on May 7,8, and 11 with the bid open date ending May 13, 2022. Due to proven record of performance, the business was awarded to Mark Chrisman Trucking, Inc. who presented the lowest bid.
