Discussion:
Elementary News: Information was shared on how each class is using the new iPads, the 2nd grade students visited the Verhage cabin at the Stuhr Museum to experience life in the late 1800's.
Jr./High School News: One Act cast and crew placed 6th at districts with 4 Outstanding Actor/Actress awards going to Cody Kroeker, Jonathan Larson, Sidney Hurlbut and Bailey Monnier. SNC competition awarded Cody Kroeker, Sidney Hurlbut, Bailey Monnier, Lew Marsolek, Jonathan Larson and Tierney Casper Outstanding Actor/Actress awards. Fourteen students participated at District FFA Leadership Skills in Aurora. Addie Swartzendruber finished 2nd in Creed Speaking and qualified for state.
HS Art students painted a "Huskie" mural on the wall in Henderson FoodMart.
Tierney Casper sang the National Anthem at the Class C-2 Volleyball Championship game.
GI Independent-All Heartland Small School Super Squad; 1st team-Tyler Brown, 2nd team- Jordan Heinrichs, Colton Siebert, Honorable Mention- Keshawn Camacho.
All District Footballs; 1st team- Jordan Heinrichs, Tyler Brown, Keshawn Camacho, Colton Siebert, Cole Nickels, Ty Spickelmier, 2nd team- Clay Bergen, Cody Kroeker.
Volleyball All Conference: 2nd team- Haley Huebert, Honorable Mention- Leah Friesen, Allison Braun.

Discussion:
Members of the Board of Education may move to enter “closed” session at any point during the regular meeting for (a) the protection of the public interest or (b) the prevention of needless injury to the reputation of an individual. “closed” sessions may be held for, but shall not be limited to such reasons as (a) strategy sessions with respect to collective bargaining, real estate purchases, pending litigation, (b) deployment of security personnel or devices, (c) investigate proceedings regarding allegations of criminal misconduct, or (d) evaluation of the job performance of a person when necessary to prevent needless injury to the reputation of a person and if such person has not requested a public hearing.
