2.8. By job description, the Business Manager is the Treasurer and recording secretary of the minutes of all meetings for the Board of Education. We recommend that the Treasurer should be reappointed each year when the Board recognizes and elects officers. The Board would move to appoint the Business Manager as the Treasurer and Recording Secretary for the Board of Education.

9. Positive Comments
Discussion:
Tucker Gilleispe- Mrs. Davidson and the speech program for their recent success
Dennis Berry- I will not be running for reelection. Thanks for keeping kids safe through the snow and some turmoil in the city. Tom Bredvick- Thankful for the new leadership on the board, and thanked Loretta and Dennis for serving this last year. Theresa Thomas- Tucker Gilespie was a guest in Coyote country and did a great job of promoting McCook Schools on Facebook live. Mike Langan- Appreciated the safety decisions and administration for all their decisions. Boys basketball is doing an outstanding job. Loretta Hauxwell- Bison TV for doing a great job covering our sports and IT is doing a great job with the website. Jeff Gross- Ricky Walker has stepped up and done a wonderful job in filling in for Paul Paz and keeping our HVAC going through the cold. Brad Hays- Wonderful how well the community supports the schools with their generosity. Grant Norgaard- Mr. Dickes and Mr. Curl for their fast response to a tough situation by having to postpone the color day dance. Elementary is reporting that the "reads list" has cut their reading in half. Kuddos to the students and staff. |
