6. Superintendent's comments:
Scheduling Committee Meetings The Facilities Committee will meet on July 13 at 7:00 a.m. The Finance Committee will meet on July 13 at 12:00 p.m.
Mr. Gross and I sat down with WDesign to discuss school design and the next step with the bond issue. It was a good meeting and we are looking at having several meetings with them and board committees over the next several months in preparation for a potential election. During the meeting we also discussed the need to collaborate with First National Capitol Markets, so to ensure we capitalize on all the services they can provide. Policy A policy committee meeting will need to be held in the upcoming months to address legislative changes. MHS Welding This will be an update on our current welding agreement with MCC and how this will impact the upcoming school year and the years to follow. |

10. Positive Comments
Discussion:
Scott Barger's positive comment was that the principals taking the time to present on college and career readiness.
Tom Bredvick positive comment was that even our retired teachers are representing students. The passion for our youth and students is so evident. Brad Hays positive comment was all the fellow board members for their timely responses and participation in Mr. Norgaards evaluation. Teresa Thomas positive comment was that all the people were getting ready for the next school year in the district. Charlie McPherson positive comment was on the transportation provided for the Chamber of commerce bash on the hills. Thanks to Paul Paz and Herb Johnson. Mike Langan positive comment was the very well put together curriculum. Emphasis on careers and top notch planning. Jeff Gross positive comment was all the hard-working summer help that have worked hard to prepare and improve our facilities. Grant Norgaard positive comment was a personal thanks to everyone for all their support and help in the district and to several co-workers that helped him personally with his daughter's wedding. |
