Discussion:  PEA - Becky Meyer: Mrs. Bader and I did the HAL - Wax Museum (kids research a famous person- dead or over 50, wrote reports, made displays and dressed up to present) Mary Gregoski: NeSA Writing- Jrs, finished; 7th grade - new book (Lincoln's Grave Robbers), non-fiction text, learning targets; 8th grade - non-fiction; 9th grade - wrapping up Hunger Games; HAL/Social Science to Legislature Mary Gregoski - Library Report: Cappuccino machine change- low-fat/low-calorie; passed out Library Report; lost copies has decreased - inventory never really been done; technology integration - digital passport (common sense media), need to do more research to see how to supplement and any other options out there, more options through CSM Kristin Reimers: NHS & StuCo did fundraiser for fence project, did very well Mikhail Happ: zoo field trip - 3/4 (May 2016)

Discussion:  Mr. Wegner: NSAA Board of Directors - list of policies going to vote; changes for next year for coaches education - beginning fall 2016 (concussion, heat illness, cardiac arrest required); unified sports - info on grant money, option to offer to students (students w/IEP matched w/2 reg ed students); student advisory council (12 member council)-starting fall 2016; football schedules out tomorrow; Dept of Ed and Rule 10 - PE classes for middle school level; classification of public/non-public; consent form retention - keep NSAA parent forms for 7 years; 9 attendance letters sent last week; Bohlken request for ideas on how to improve activity competition for Palmer (came from coaches) - need to improve track facilities and weight room needs/wants, more treadmills/cardio equipment, some equipment needs to be upgraded - some new helmets this year, shoot-away requested, facilities/storage, coaching consistency, hire people that want to coach, someone in charge of elem activities, buy-in from coaches, kids, parents, community; facility options Mrs. Loeffelbein: 3/4 outdoor skills, 5/6 robotics (April-ish 4-H after-school club); Meyer/Hester presenting at NETA Conference in April - primary grades iPad use; Lang Arts - thru 2 curriculums, final one on 26th, narrow down to 2 and then make final; voting on mission statement during PT conferences; NeSA writing - 4th grade is done;
