Discussion:
House Day Challenge - Brayden Weller - 7th grade, Morgann Pospisil - senior, Carl Nielson - sophomore: handshake, eye contact, one-on-one interview, ten mins to prepare speech about "Come to Palmer," best speech won challenge, positive image, think on your feet, present yourselves, great prep for college and job interviews, practice is great for real world. Definitely do speech and interview again!! Mr. Mottl - neatest thing and tests kids well! PEA: Mrs. Killinger - Title I and ELL: English language proficiency assessment just finished for ELL students - think students did well; Title I curriculum is amazing to have this year - placement tests for Title I students; all school play - struggle in the spring due to other activities.

Discussion:
Mr. Morris: curriculum for soc studies selection - very close to final decision - ESU7 assistance; elementary curriculum mapping; ELL event in Lincoln - curriculum development for incoming students; track season starting up - first track meet at UNK this Thursday @ 1pm - 18 girls and 14 boys; 5-8 graders met w/administrators - gave thoughts on school and any needs/updates/improvements; planning has started for next year's classes - teachers giving recommendations/suggestions - Mrs. Bruland will be meeting with 8-11th graders for recommendations/suggestions/wish list - build schedule from those; possibility of splitting 7/8th grade classes due to large numbers and allow smaller class sizes. Mrs. Loeffelbein: last week - 4th graders NAEP test - random testing every two years; Soc Studies curriculum - process going well - takes time; MAP testing rolls out tmrw; SpEd/Title field trip to Humane Society - tour and behind-the-scenes; House Winner (3rd qtr) - Integritas; NRCSA presentation - Kearney (2PC committee) - 21st at 3:30 presentation if want to view; elem/middle school at Wayne State results - lots of kids did VERY well!; 6th graders taking computers home for first time/preparation for 7th grade. |

Admin team met with ESU7 staff to discuss needs/wants for 2017-18SY - continue with Marzano goals and instructional coaching; Sheriff's Dept - safety visit - trying to schedule; met w/coaches to discuss weight equipment/wrestling room expansion - facilities comm meet after final #s; legislative update; enrollment projections/personnel needs for 2017-18SY.
