5 Minutes of FAME:  APL Weekly Focus:  Agenda and Bell Ringer

1.  District Office Building:  We will continue to meet at the District Building.  Penny has moved over already and Sally, Shelley, and I will move as soon as our offices are done.  Ron told me they would be moving the special education department once they get the tile floor done in that area. 

2.  Requisitions:  Textbook cycle and requisitions for 2020-21 will be open Monday, February 17th.  If you have any new hires, we need to know who they replaced and the inventory that goes to the new teacher.  Teachers will need to requisition for their present positions.  The COOP purchase teacher catalog opens on line on 2/17/2020.  Coop purchase is due March 30th.  Regular requisitions due May 1st.

3.  2020-21 Teacher/Program Needs:  Please focus on your teacher needs at this time.  We are currently advertising:  Elementary Principal, Middle School Assistant Principal, Physical Education, Elementary Education, Instrumental Music, High School Language Arts, high school and middle school math/science. 

4.  Principal Selection and Interview Process:  We finalized candidates last week and set up interviews for this week.  I met with Mr. Comley and Mr. Zavadil and selected teachers on an advisory committee for these interviews and finalized interview questions.  See interview questions and scoring rubric to be used in each interview.

5.  Parent-Teacher Conferences:  Discussion and coordination of 3rd Quarter Parent-Teacher Conferences. 

6.  Strategic Planning:  Review academic recommendations on Thoughtexchange.
