Respect - Responsibility - Effort

1.  Book Review:   "Strengths Based Leadership" (postponed due to administrators out of the district today)

2.  2018-19 Teacher/Program Needs:  Staffing needs for 2018-19 will need to be completed and submitted to me by February 1st.  Please focus on your teacher needs at this time.  We will address support staff needs by March 1st.

3. 2018-19 Calendar:  The board adopted the 2018-19 calendar last night.

4.  Staff Resignations:  If you have any openings, please get your job descriptions for posting to Shelley.  When we get enough to advertise in the Omaha World Hearald, we will let you know.  

5.  New Staff:  The board approved the four new staff hires for 2018-19.  We currently have a high school Vocational Agriculture and possible Math open.  We also have an elementary/middle school music position.

6. Strategic Planning Draft:  2018 strategic plan was approved by the board of education last night. We will host a community leaders meeting on Monday, February 19th to ask community members to sign up for a committee.  See community leaders and possible committees.

7.  Principals/Director Salary Considerations:  Please sign your contract for the 2018-19 school year.  I need to get the board secretary signature and will get you a signed copy.

8.  Priority School Designation:  We are working to put information together to present to the state board of education in April.  Not sure what success we will have, but the next month will prove valuable to us as we generate data from the high school that focuses on attendance and student performance.

9.  High School Broadcasting Studio:  We are working with Mr. Flood on designing curriculum, equipment, and studio for our high school journalism and broadcasting studio.
