Closure 1. Professional Reading: (Walk a While in My Shoes): a. On being "objective, consistent, and fair/On resolving disputes b. On personal problems/On sharing information 2. Requisition/Inventory: Inventory updates are open. Requisitions have been moved over to inventory. Your teachers are responsible for confirming this transfer, removing consumable items if necessary, and adding items they may have purchased through COOP. They also cannot add their personal items on their inventory. Please make sure your staff is reviewing their assigned inventory and make changes as required. 3. 2020-21 Teacher Incentive Program: Discussion and Ideas for us to consider proposing to the SEA and board of education. (Remote teaching/learners ZOOM) 4. Gallup Strength's Finder: Dr. Gibbons is getting codes for new staff to complete the strength's Finder Survey. Your new staff will need to complete these online. Dr. Gibbons will provide you with access or a copy of your present and new staff strengths. Please make sure you work with your staff during PLC's on recognizing these strengths and using them in your programs. 5. School Calendar Changes: Based on our discussion last week at SAA, we are prepared to present an alternative schedule for the week of October 19-23 to include APL and Capturing Kids Hearts over the five days. This will require us to go back to the board for a second calendar amendment for first semester. Dr. Gibbons will lead the discussion on the schedules for October 19-23. 6. Parent-Teacher Conferences: Tuesday, October 13th from 5:00 to 8:00 and Wednesday, October 14th from 8:00 to 4:00 7. District Program September Meetings: September 23rd @ 2:00: Food Service/Custodial @ District Office September 25th @ 2:15: Support Staff ZOOM Meeting * You can attend in person at the district office if you want September 25th @ 3:00: SEA Representatives at District Office. 8. Rule 10 Requirements: (Reminder) Rule 10 building reports are due to the superintendent by October 1st. 9. Suicide Prevention Requirement: State Law requires all employees to participate in Suicide Prevention Training. Dr. Gibbons will update us on this statutory requirement. 10. Rural School Activity Transportation: We need to discuss how our rural school students participating in junior high athletics get to SMS on game days. Mrs. Brabec did this in the past but her duties have changed. Any thoughts or suggestions. 11. Topics of Interest: Items we need to have on our radar for discussion or planning.
