Early Retirement Eligibility: In December, I sent the updated list of eligible teachers for the early retirement program. Penny will follow up with those teachers on the list who have expressed interest in applying. Because this is a new policy, I am not sure the board will honor partial applications, but, teachers partially meeting the requirements may still apply. 2. School Safety/Security Assessment Report: Dr. Lefdal, Jesse Zavadil, Meridith Riha, and Heather Bebout are registered for this workshop. It is zoom, so you will stay in your building/office. These building reps. along with 6 other representatives will be involved in a attending a zoom two-day workshop (March 16th & 17th) hosted by NDE (FEMA: High Quality Emergency Operations Plan). In addition to 6 school members we must include (Emergency Manager, County Sheriff, Chief of Police, Fire Chief) in this training. We will be updating our plan to match all the requirements of the FEMA Plan. 3. 2021-22 Draft 3 Calendar Update: Due to APL contract availability, Dr. Gibbons sent out draft 3 of the proposed calendar moving the end of the first quarter to October 12th and the week of PD, PT Conferences, and Fall Break back one week. This also balances out first and second quarters. 4. 2021-22 Requisitions: Sally is working on the Coop paper order. She will be here on Monday to visit with you about the Teacher Coop Requisitions. These should be available next week and due on April 1st. 5. Snow Days: We are beyond our days for inclement weather school dismissals without make-up days to meet our accreditation requirements. We will discuss the best options in the future. 6. Support Staff Meetings: February support staff meeting schedule: Wednesday 2/24/21 2:15PM Food Service/Maintenance (ZOOM address: 4023523527) Friday 2/26/21 2:45PM Para Educators/Office (ZOOM address: 4023523527) Friday 2/26/21 3:15PM SEA Representatives (District Office) 7. 2021 STRAT Plan Update: Discussion on recommended updates and 2021 strategic plan and updated Board Committee Meetings schedule. Due to the cold weather, we moved the two meetings scheduled for February 16th to March 2nd. I emailed you an updated schedule this week and Sally sent it our to the board members. See attached.
