Goal: All students participate in school activities that promote teamwork, physical fitness, work ethic, honesty, self-confidence, and sportsmanship.
Target Area:
Provide a comprehensive physical education and visual & performing arts program in the elementary and middle schools.
Strategy: Develop a schedule to increase opportunities for elementary and middle school students to participate in physical education, visual and performing arts. (May 2014)
Provide a competitive, well-rounded extra-curricular activities program at the elementary, middle, and high school levels.
Strategy: Develop a plan to expand youth athletic programs to promote interest, skill development, sportsmanship, teamwork, and knowledge of sport. (July 2014)
