I. Discussion Items
Rationale:
1. Finance/Budget Report: See attached budget and finance reports. 2. PD Week: Thank you to the food service staff for providing a meal for the fall parent-teacher conferences and to all staff for setting up and participating in the fall workshops. We will be hosting a two-day workshop on January 17-18. These are required workdays for all staff. Please let Ron or Jamie know if you have ideas for workshops in your interest or work area. 3. Safety Review: We are required to conduct an annual safety review. We just completed updating the building pictures on the Navigate prepared website and will have that uploaded to our site in January. We have not scheduled our safety audits for 2021-22 at this time. We will let you know when these will be scheduled. 4. Strategic Plan Update: We will be submitting our final 2021 Strategic Plan Report to the board of education on December 13th. The Thoughtexchanges for the 2022 Strategic Plan will be open to the community and all staff next week. Please take time to weigh-in on these conversations. You can participate by rating other's thoughts or adding your ideas in the areas of most interest to you. Staff input will begin in January and culminate at our workshops on January 17-18. 5. Health Screens: Make sure you sign up for the Wellness Screening on January17th. Watch for a signup schedule within the next two weeks. 6. Health Insurance: We will be offering on open enrollment period for changing insurance programs beginning in January 2022. This dual option allows employees to elect to participate in a high deductible ($3,600) and use the premium savings to enroll in a healthcare savings account. Please let Penny know if you are considering moving to the higher deductible by December 6th. 7. 2022-23 School Calendar: We will be taking recommendations on the 2022-23 school calendar. This calendar is generally approved in March for the next school year. We will present this calendar for input on January 17-18 Workshops. 8. 2022-23 Salary Schedule: Your salary is based on your position and place on the salary schedule. If you have any suggestions for improving the salary schedule for your area, please let Ron or Jamie know. They will present these to a board committee for consideration for the 2022-23 school year. 9. Safety Videos: Please complete your safety training videos that are posted on the district website. Please make sure you work on completing these training videos. We will provide some time for you to work on completing these on January 17-18 workshops. 10. Christmas and New Year Holiday Pay: Because these two holidays are on Saturday, your paid holiday will be the Friday prior. (December 24th and December 31). If you want to enter any other leave time over the break, please submit your request prior to the break. 11. Lunch Balances: Please make sure you clean-up any negative lunch balances prior to break.
