Rationale:
Communication - Belief Effort Respect Responsibility One Good Thing! COVID/Illness Report: Staff COVID+ - 0 Student COVID+ - 0 SCHS Staff COVID+ - 0 Student COVID+ - 2 November 7, 2022: Preschool, K-1 Dual Language, Richland, Fishers, SES, SMS, SCHS, K-1 Dual Language, District Office Staff COVID+ - 0 Student COVID+ - Possible Opoid Overdose Response: We have Naloxone (NARCAN) in each building. At this time, our nurses are trained to administer this nasal response. Our plan has been submitted to Nesbitt & Associates for inclusion in our manual. 1. Return-to-Learn Plan Review: Our illness absentee numbers were above 5% at the high school last week. After much discussion, we decided to notify the parents of increased illness across the district, ask for increased disinfecting efforts at home and at school, but were not going to require masking of staff at this time. We will watch our illness numbers this week. Tori will lead this discussion. 2. 1st Semester Probationary Teacher Evaluations: Remember, all probationary certificated staff need to have a completed, full-period, evaluation during the first semester. 3. January PD Topic Discussion: I received additional suggestions from Dave Gibbons and Jeff Droge for the January PD. nOther possible topics discussed with leadership for January 16, 17,18th PD include: a. Flip Flippin Keynote Presenter b. ACT Writing c. Process Champions d. Discovery Ed. Innovator Training: e. AED/CPR/Medical/Emergency Response Teams f. Strategic Plan Sessions g. Mental Health First Aid for Youth h. School Improvement Teams: Accreditation Visit 5. Strategic Plan: Thanks for your work with Dr. Gibbons to complete the Dashboard update. Thank you for your continued work to promote and use ROOMS. We still have some staff that use Remind. Do we really want to support two platforms? We still have two months to complete items on the 2022 plan and begin planning for the 2023 STRAT Plan. 6. Threat Assessment and Board Safety Committee: Review of the Board Committee Safety Meeting held on Thursday, November 10th. 7. ThoughtExchange Summary: Staff Exchange: 182 participants, 104 shared thoughts, 5,303 ratings. Star Rating Ratio was 51. Parent Exchange: 146 (121 English, 25 Spanish) participants, 77 shared thoughts, 2,484 ratings. Star Rating Ratio was 32. Kady will provide an overview of these results. 8.
