August 4, 2014 at 2:00 PM - SAA Weekly Meeting

Rationale:  1.  School Opening Workshop Schedule:  We finalized the pre-opening workshop schedule.

2.  Open House Topics/Schedule/Goals:  Finalized times for the open-house and discussed objectives for the open-house.  Remember, this is a paid 1/2 contract day for the evening.  Ending time cannot be before 8:00 PM.

3.  2014-15 SAA Meeting Schedule:  We will continue to meet from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at SMS conference room.  Please get me topics by noon on Monday.

4.  2014-15 Department Monthly Meeting Schedule:  Dr. Hoesing will continue to host monthly program meetings with certificated and support staff programs.  You are invited, but not required to attend these meetings.  Please check the meeting schedule for dates and times.

5.  204-15 Board Meeting Reports:  Board meeting reports are DUE on the Wednesday before the board meeting this year.  Board meetings are typically held on the second Monday of the month from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM.  All administrators are invited to attend.  If you have a conflict with another school activity, you are excused to supervise that event.

6.  Transportation Program:  We will put a signup sheet for parents with children in the preschool and elementary grades.  The bus schedule will be presented to the board for approval on Monday, August 11th.

7.  Behavior Program and Saturday School: Middle and high school will be initiating a new behavior management program this year.  We will set a meeting time to review your implementation process along with setting guidelines for Saturday School if necessary.
