September 5, 2014 at 1:00 PM - After School Program Meeting

Rationale:  1.  Program Overview:  We discussed the program overview, schedule, and hiring goals.  The four focus areas are 1.  Academic (STEM, High Ability, Homework), 2.  Fitness,   3.  Fine Arts,   4.  Parent Involvement.  We also discussed the initial program being pretty structured with Fridays used to accommodate the outside agencies involvement.  Surveys will be sent out on Friday afternoon to solicit input from parents and alert them to the availability of the program.  Our target date to begin the program is September 26th.

2.  Visitation to Crete:  The director and coordinators will be going to Crete next week to observe their afterschool program.
