5 Minutes of FAME:  APL Weekly Focus:  Serial Positioning

1.  Early Retirement Eligibility:  We updated the list of teachers meeting the minimum age of 55.  In order to be eligible for state retirement, they must also meet the Rule of 85.  In order to be eligible for an early retirement district incentive, they must also have a Masters Degree or equivalent and 10 years of service.  See List of teachers meeting the minimum age of 55.

2.  Probationary Teacher Evaluations:  All probationary teachers are required to have one full observation and evaluation completed during each semester of their first three years.  This observation must be for a full-class period.

3.  Administration Growth Plans:  Dr. Gibbons has informed me that he has worked with each of you to complete your growth plans for the 2019-20 school year.  If you want to make any changes to these plans, I will be meeting with each of the administrators to review these plans and make adjustments where necessary. 

4.  Strategic Plan Review:  Topic review for 2020 Strategic planning session.

5.  Health Screens/Strategic Planning:  Postponed to January 20th.

6.  Safe Schools Training:  Due December 20th.  Completion of these trainings are required by Nebraska State Statute.
      Suicide Prevention:  Nebraska Statute:  79-2146
      Human Trafficking:  Nebraska Statute:  28-830 and 831.

7.  Wellness Day Program:  See list of participants.  If we have additional participants after our January 20th meeting, we will give them credit for November and December as well.

8.  2020-21 Calendar:  Dave created a draft of the 2020-21 School Calendar.  Initial discussion on calendar changes and recommendations.
