Mr. Gegg reported on the financial status of the district

Discussion:
Muhlbach shared upcoming seminars and trainings for board members

4.c. Superintendent's Report
Discussion:
Mr. Gegg reported on Building and Grounds - installation of the acoustic tiles in the new commons and lights in the front of the building will begin this week, rock will be added to the back driveway, the building and grounds committee met and discussed summer and future facility projects. Mr. Gegg and Mr. Wieseler continue to work with Kenesaw on the details of a potential coop for junior high sports. The 2014 bonds have been refinanced resulting in a lower interest rate as well as a lower tax levy.

4.d. Elementary Principal Report

Elementary Principal Report
Mr. Kenton reported PK - 6th enrollment is 159. NSCAS testing is underway for 3rd-6th grade students and should be complete by April 18th. FastBridge end of year assessments will take place April 24-25. Family STEM night was held on March 21st, we utilized a grant to bring in the Edgerton Explorit Center from Aurora. Preschool registration has taken place and there is currently a waiting list. Summer school plans have been made and letters have been sent out to students.

4.e. High School Principal Report
Discussion:
High School Principal Report
Mr. Wieseler reported 7th-12th enrollment is 133. Junior students took the ACT test on April 9th. NSCAS testing for 7th & 8th grade students is underway. Seniors read My Antonia and concluded with a trip to the Willa Cather museum in Red Cloud. Shelton had 19 members attend state FFA convention in Lincoln.
