Dr. Adler reviewed the results and made some DRAFT committee assignments that will be submitted to President Roarty and the Board of Education for review and adjustment as needed. The DRAFT Committee assignments are included with this Board Agenda item. Dr. Adler will discuss the DRAFT committee assignments with the Board and make adjustments as directed. The target date to begin committee work will be in June or July.

6.4. The Bridge Family Resource Connector Network Payment Request

Over the last 18 months a variety of school and community leaders have been working to establish a Family Resource Connector Network in the Ralston Area. In addition to those efforts, the Learning Community has also been working to establish a Learning Community Center in the Ralston Area as identified as one of their strategic priorities. These two community support organizations have combined efforts and are working collaboratively to establish the Learning Community Center and the Bridge Family Resource Connector Network in the same location. These collaborative efforts will provide support to families and students from Birth to 3 (Learning Community) as well as academic, social, emotional, and health support to school aged children and families (Bridge Family Resource Connector Network). The attached MOU will support the Bridge Family Resource Connector Network and was approved by the Ralston Board of Education on May 23, 2022. Among a myriad of things, the Bridge Family Resource Connector Network will provide after school programming for students that is focused on the Arts. Ralston Public Schools financial commitment will be a one time payment of $125,000 to support the startup and initial programming for the Bridge. The $125,000 expenditure will be paid from ESSER Funds in support of recovery learning. The administration recommends payment of the $125,000 at the Board's Regular Meeting on February 27, 2023.
