Rationale:  The purchase of this bus keeps with our long range plan to upgrade our bus fleet using IDEA funds.  The recommendation to purchase the bus from Omaha Truck Center is cost effective and also has a history of high quality service work when repairs are needed.  In a detailed review of the bid specifications, it is believed all equipment suggested by each vendor is generally equal in quality and functionality.  This purchase will allow us to expend some of our IDEA funds while replacing a bus that is no longer in service.
