Rationale:
We have hundreds of old jerseys that we would like to get rid of. The basketball team is willing to organize the sale of thees at an upcoming basketball game but we must declare them as surplus first. We are looking for a motion to declare the old jerseys as surplus and authorize the Superintendent to facilitate disposal of said items.
|
4.2.2. Declare old tables and desks as surplus.
Rationale:
We have a number of old tables and desks that are taking up a lot of room in our very limited storage space. We would like the opportunity to go through these and dispose of any damaged, worn, or excess tables or desks. We are looking for a motion to declare the tables and desks as surplus and authorize the Superintendent to facilitate disposal of said items.

5. Policy & Procedure
|
5.1. Agreement with Mr. Justin Dowdy for use of original works.
Rationale:
Policy 4020 states that "Works created by district employees in the course and scope of their employment remain the property of the district. The board may enter into a written agreement with a staff member allowing the staff member to share ownership of a copyright in the covered work. The board will only enter into such an agreement if the written work was created apart from, and in addition to, what the district requires and if the district will not incur an expense to replace the work."
Mr. Dowdy, a second grade teacher, has gone above and beyond to create vocabulary slides for our new ReadyGEN program. He's done so outside school time and on his down device. I would like for the board to consider the attached agreement which would allow Mr. Dowdy to pursue copyright on his original works. |
