Tuesday, August 27, 2024 Budget Workshop 7:00pm - Board of Education Budget Workshop

1. Call Meeting to Order:
Declare meeting legal, open, and affirm advance notice of meeting. The open meeting laws are posted on the north wall of the library.  Roll call: Happold, Lyon, Most, Rath, Schutt, Wilson.  
Request a motion that it hereby be determined that this public meeting was preceded by public notice and is determined to be legal and in open session.  Time:____________

4.A. Discuss the 2024-2025 school budget.

4.B. Discuss and approve the transfer of $365,000.00 from General fund to the Depreciation fund.

4.C. Discuss and approve the transfer of $25,000.00 from the General fund to the Activity fund.

4.D. Discuss and approve the transfer of $10,000.00 from the General fund to the Lunch fund. 

4.E. Discuss and approve that the Giltner Board of Education will ensure the daycare buildings will have a guaranteed location provided by the school district when buildings are ready to be relocated.

The school board retreat is set for Monday, September 9th, at 6:00pm in the school library.
The following meetings are scheduled for Monday, September 16th, in the school library:
Budget Summary meeting 6:30pm
Final Tax Request meeting will follow the Budget Summary meeting
Regular Board of Education meeting immediately following
