The board negotiation committee recommends that the board approve the side letter agreement for personal days in April and May. We still wanted to leave this as a side letter agreement so we could have more history before determining if both groups wanted it included in the negotiated agreement.

4. Optional Open Enrollment for 2013/14

The policy and personnel committee met and conferred on the Educators Health Alliance optional open enrollment period for 2013/14 and feel that with the new negotiated teacher agreement and the fact that staff will have to make insurance decisions that the optional open enrollment period is needed.
