The meeting was called to order at 7:30 p.m.

2.1. Dr. Larry Dlugosh
Discussion:
Dr. Dlugosh presented information related to the Board of Education goal setting process based on input received from the September work session. Dr. Dlugosh provided the Board with three goal strands and possible action items for each goal. The first two statements reflected the comments from individual Board members as offered in the previous study session. Dr. Dlugosh informed the Board that these two goals impact only the Board. If the Board takes action on goal number three, a strategic plan would then include goals for the school district as a whole. Dr. Dlugosh outlined the strategic planning process he has used for the Board. Board members reviewed the goal strands and potential action items associated with each goal. The Board asked Mr. Hanger to include the goals for the November agenda. |
