1. Call to Order and Pledge of Allegiance

Discussion:

Board President Desh called the budget hearing to order at 6:50 p.m. immediately following the CMAR special board meeting.
Please note: The Pledge of Allegiance will not be recited during this hearing as the Pledge will occur at the earlier special meeting immediately preceding this meeting.
- Additional note added after the hearing: The Pledge of Allegiance was not recited at the hearing due to this action being completed later in the evening at the regular board meeting.

2. Announcement of the Open Meetings Act Posting

Discussion:

Board President Desh identified the location of the Open Meetings Act Poster on the wall in the meeting room.
- Please note that no changes to the Open Meetings Act occurred during the last Legislative session and the current Open Meetings Act information will stay current until further notice.

3. 2023-2024 District OR-1: Budget Public Hearing

Discussion:

The public hearing was opened at 6:51 p.m.

3.1. In compliance with the current provisions of state requirements, the Board of Education provides this time for the purpose of hearing support, opposition, criticism, suggestions, or observations regarding the proposed district budget for the 2023-2024 school year.

Discussion:

Craig Bolz and Susan Royal (both individuals are from Palmyra) provided Public Comment at the special hearing.

4. Close Public Hearing on District Budget

Discussion: Board President Desh closed the special hearing at 7:17 p.m.
