Wednesday, September 25, 2024 Immediately following the Budget Hearing - Regular Meeting

1. Roll Call;

2. Inform the Public about the location of the Open Meetings Act and the Citizens Participation Rules;

3. Minutes of the September 11, 2024 meeting of the Mayor and City Council;

4. Consider Change Order No. 2 for Sargent Drilling in the amount of ($3,000) and approve a thirty-day time extension for the 2024 Well #14 Relining project; *
 

5. Consider Change Order No. 4 for Velocity Construction in the amount of $17,454.00 for the 2022 Water Treatment Plant Upgrade; *

 

6. Consider Amendment No. 1 for the 2023 Water Main Loop Project in the amount of $340,390 to add an 8” water main from West A Street and M Road to the Wastewater Treatment Plant; *

 

7. Public Hearing to consider amending the Zoning Ordinance No. 1060 by amending Section 4.09.04 Yard Requirements by amending or removing Any side or rear yard in a residential district which is adjacent to any existing industrial or commercial use shall be no less than 25 feet and shall contain landscaping and planting suitable toprovide effective screening;
 

8. Consider Ordinance No. 1494 amending the Zoning Ordinance No. 1060 by amending Section 4.09.04 Yard Requirements by amending or removing any side or rear yard in a residential district which is adjacent to any existing industrial or commercial use shall be no less than 25 feet and shall contain landscaping and planting suitable to provide effective screening; *
 

9. Consider Ordinance No. 1495 confirming the sale of real property parcel #120006931 to Ratkovec Construction; *

10. Ordinance No. 1496 adopting the budget statement to be termed the Annual Appropriation Bill to appropriate the budget for the 2024-2025 fiscal year; *

11. Consider Resolution No. 24-2024 approving an additional one percent (1%) increase in restricted funds; *

12. Consider Resolution No. 25-2024 setting the property tax request; *

13. Consider Resolution No. 26-2024 carrying forward the unused budget authority; *

14. Consider Resolution No. 27-2024 Authorizing execution of a purchase and sale and easement agreement and grant of easement with AGP for a Substation; *
 

15. Closed session for personnel, contracts or pending litigation (as necessary); *

16. Adjourn;
