Motion to approve the agenda Passed with a motion by Otto Woockman and a second by Terry Nelson (Board Secretary).

Motion that the Board of Education of this School District should and does hereby approve the attached GMP Amendment to the December 10, 2018 contract between the Wausa Public School District and Boyd Jones Construction Company, Inc., setting forth the Guaranteed Maximum Price Agreement (GMP Agreement) and attached GUARANTEED MAXIMUM PRICE (GMP) PROPOSAL FROM CONSTRUCTION MANAGER submitted and presented by Boyd Jones Construction Company on May 17, 2019, for the demolition of portions of the Wausa Public Schools, Wausa, Nebraska, existing building and renovations and additions thereto in the sum of THREE MILLION NINE HUNDRED FORTY-SEVEN THOUSAND FOUR HUNDRED TWENTY-NINE DOLLARS ($3,947,429.00), in the form attached to this Motion; and, hereby authorize the President of the Board of Education execute the GMP Agreement on behalf of the Board of Education, and to take all action necessary to carry out the provisions of the Construction Management at Risk agreement between the School District and Boyd Jones Construction Co. relating to the acceptance of the GMP proposal of Boyd Jones Construction Company, Inc., according to the terms of such Agreement. Passed with a motion by Terry Nelson (Board Secretary) and a second by Dan Story.
