Discussion:
The Directors and Superintendent shared updates with the board. Erin Heineman shared an update on the food service meal program, transportation, and district expenses associated with the COVID 19 Pandemic. Jill Gill shared the status of collecting employee leave documentation and other HR duties currently taking place. Todd Strom shared a legislative update, tennis court update, and the TIF report. Doyle Smith shareed what custodians and maintenance have completed and currently working on, notified board that bids have been advertised for the Harney fire alarm project and gave an update on the High School athletic complex bleachers. Tracy Heilman shared an update on curriculum and instruction at all grade levels. Becky Eckhardt shared an update on special education curriculum and process for IEP/MDTs that are still taking place per state mandate, an update on what counselors are working on, mental health services that are available to families, and continued close work with emergency management center. Lance Swanson shared an update on information platforms including social media, website, signs, media, and updating of the school calendar. Drew Stansberry shared an update on the 6th grade student laptop distribution and virtual options for teachers to work with students. No motion.
