5.a. Resolution Number 7433 adopting the drainage study for the Belvedere area.

Discussion:
TT -grant to pay for part of study to be conducted. belvedere between 3rd and 4th avenue, perry - ____ avenue. looked at existing conditions, what structures were impacted on 2, 5, 10 & 50 year storm events. no structures impacted in 50 year storm. recommended porjets to do: existing stormwtaer at 3rd & belvedere - abandon that pipe & extend further south. culvert crossing Mulberry - replace with dual 48" culverts, sharpless avenue, existing dual 30" replace with ___ culverts. cost estimates: $192-812??? will take look when do projects in vicinity, what can we do to help ileaviate .

5.b. Resolution Number 7434 adopting the drainage study for Tributary 44.

Discussion:
grant paid for study.
Trib 44 - 2 drainage basins that flow into each other. impacted structures: 5 year event 15 structures are impacted. up to 100 storm 52 impacted then. model put together impacted, people in neighborhood have not seen impact to some of the structures. recommended projects: upstream storage, build detention cells to hold water back & slowly drain back. west & east side. inlets at High & Grant STreet. Stormsewer 19th & Lincoln that pulls water back here...undo that. Cost estimate: $346,000 to $2.2 mill. city taking stance on putting in regional detention cells, have had new businesses install them Ted - where can they look at this? TT - will make sure it is posted on website. Ted - plans to do anything? TT - not at this time, some quite large, other funding. will do work as in area. |

Resolution Number 7440 executing the General Release, Request for Reconveyance, and the Deed of Reconveyance, along with all other necessary documents to release and discharge Vincent Warner, Warner Investments, LLC, d/b/a Valentino’s, and 701 East Court Street, LLC, regarding their LB840 Loan Agreement.

last meeting approved lb840 loan for vals. releases previous loan, which was paid in full, releasing all collateral.

5.d. Resolution Number 7441 executing the Grant Agreement and any other documents necessary to effectuate the Nebraska Department of Economic Development (NDED) Rural Community Recovery Grant Program No. 23-RCRP-039.

Discussion:
this was money originally for kensington thru covid, turned down due to federal strings. NDED new program, reapplied. this time identified a number of playgrounds, rec facilities, put together appliation. $1.5 mill in playgrounds, facilities to upgrade or install $985,000. have until 2026 to spend. grant application will be brought forward as we move forward to get this in place. Terry - took alot of creative thinking. thanks for putting together.

8.a. City Administrator’s Monthly Report.
Discussion:
TT - thanked for being gone. 33rd & Lincoln street open, working on putting up street lights. city hall generator is complete. Thursday open house at LIbrary re Dempsters the EPA grant applying for. 4-6 p.m.
