JB - money from state based on formula, must have plan in place for 6 years showing our intent. plan is fluid, can add, move, etc. and have idea putting money from NDOT info. $1.8 mill doesn't go far.
citylogix - camera score PCI - public outcry, Ted - how big of a shift, JM - will increase lane miles to 4 blocks. $16000 asphalt & guys time. JB - lane miles - 22 ft wide= 2 lane miles, 36 = 3 lane miles, helps in number. standard roadway is 32'. 1 ft off per curb, 3 lane miles. yr 1 - Hwy 136, 1st to 24th, $2.43 mill NDOT project funded. Jeff St, complete that roadway to finish area which was replanted & opens up 6 lots. trail goes through - additional cost. 13th st AC - may cut back number of streets shortfall of $16,000 - only award projects budgeted for. yr 2 - Hwy 77 - number not associated with 3 or 4 lanes, this was provided by state, has budgeted at $9.63? mill. LIncoln St, broken up over 28 & 29 - JEO provided budget 5th to 25th St, $13 mill. broken up into 2 years. account for grant we received. stormwater, ADA ramps, mike - water /sewer included? jb - some included, will go to departments to determine if projects need to be updated along this cooridor. Hydo- with multiple large projects, that we have some share in, how does budget look for that? does this affect? TT - Hwy 77 million $ project should have cash reserves. Lnk depends upon when grant comes through, may be some cash reserves, or may issue hwy allocation bonds. Assume 2 year construction, Zarby - 9" concrete expected? JB - 35-50, with maintence. JM = asphalt road, 2 years later crackseal, year 4-5 years try to seal up again. AC #1 preservation of surface maint. Ted - base of Lnk? Burroughs- brick, Jason haven't tore any up. Bellwood full depth. Eskra - sub-base surprises? JB - yes, take out 2', bring in 2' clay or make mixture depending on which is more economical.will bore prior to project to determine what base is. Elk St - 6-19, constantly AC/AS. redo section $922,000. due to ADA ramps. JM - over last 12-13 years amount of money to increase on our streets, primarily due to grants, no way we had money to do streets previously. grant work has increased millions of dollars on street projects. GB - $45 mill in grants, city match was $5, Ted - lnk $10.___, in order to GB - without leadership, hope we can keep that going. JB - last line summary yr3 - 2nd 1/2 of Lnk, runs to 25th st; Market St - with cast project, feel might be more traffic shifted to market. JM - earmarked projects to keep things moving. Doyle - INtersections on Lnk - JB - 6th/Lnk line up appropriately, other is 13th jog, preliminary design accounts for that, proceed 19th/Lnk, roundabout or other traffic control addressed at that time, connect ot existing roadway at 25th. JEO has a number of bumpouts for homes without alley access. TT - sidewalk improvements for sure, not sure if it was trail. yr4 - 2030 - Hwy relocation project, could be sooner that this depending upon design. 7th perkins to market; don't want to abandon our normal maintenance schedule for public, if any further behind harder to catch back up. materials not getting any cheaper. more we can do pre-emptively better. JM - 65$ to 81$ ton for asphalt. Eskra - inflation #? JB - use last years cost estimate, bump up, will go back to them to add adjustment. some is added, yr 5 - hwy relocation 5-9th; 12th st, Dorsey - park; yr 6 - final section of downtown. and beaver ave, 6th to 11th, could extend to 13th depending on cost.. future projects - keeping eye on.have list for grants, move projects around to fit. $20 million. $1.8 million annually, spend responsibly Mike - how important safe street for all grant, that's what got us started. TT - study identified 3 main priorities, 136, Hwy 77, Lincoln will address all three.
