June 12, 2017 at 7:00 PM - REGULAR MONTHLY MEETING OF THE BOARD OF EDUCATION

A motion was made by Brett Hammond and seconded by Jerry Kovarik to approve the consent agenda. After discussion and on roll call vote the Board voted as follows: Passed.

A motion was made by Jerry Kovarik and seconded by Janna Tripe to approve the receipts, expenditures, and payment of claims from the General Fund for $474,074.71 and from Activity Fund for $10,528.70. After discussion and on roll call vote the Board voted as follows: Passed.

A motion was made by Jerry Kovarik and seconded by Brett Hammond to approve a request from Seri Neal to host basketball camp July 24, 25, and 26 of July 2017, for boys and girls going into grades three through nine. After discussion and on roll call vote the Board voted as follows: Passed.

A motion was made by Brett Hammond and seconded by Janna Tripe to approve a teaching contract for Alex Schoneman, for the 2017-2018 school year, for grades 7 through 12, teaching Social Studies.. After discussion and on roll call vote the Board voted as follows: Passed.

A motion was made by Janna Tripe and seconded by Jerry Kovarik to approve hiring Amanda Dunse for the 2017-2018 school term as assistant cook. After discussion and on roll call vote the Board voted as follows: Passed.

A motion was made by Brett Hammond and seconded by Janna Tripe to there are no change orders so no action was taken.. After discussion and on roll call vote the Board voted as follows: Withdrawn.

A motion was made by Brett Hammond and seconded by Janna Tripe to approve Mr. Robison and the 8 officers going to Lincoln on July 21 to attend the Aaron Watson Concert. On July 22nd they will travel to Des Monies to go to Adventure Land and spend the night. They will return to Alma on July 23. After discussion and on roll call vote the Board voted as follows: Passed.
