August 14, 2017 at 7:00 PM - REGULAR MONTHLY MEETING OF THE BOARD OF EDUCATION

A motion was made by Lori Tripe and seconded by Janna Tripe to approve the consent agenda. After discussion and on roll call vote the Board voted as follows: Passed.

A motion was made by Jerry Kovarik and seconded by Lori Tripe to approve the receipts, expenditures, and payment of claims from the General Fund for $420,344.42 and from Activity Fund for $2,364.19. After discussion and on roll call vote the Board voted as follows: Passed.

A motion was made by Jerry Kovarik and seconded by Janna Tripe to Motion was made by Jerry Kovarik and seconded by Janna Tripe to adjourn the regular meeting and open the public hearing to review the amended budget @ 7:28pm. Amended Budget reviewed and discussed.. After discussion and on roll call vote the Board voted as follows: Passed.

A motion was made by Lori Tripe and seconded by Janna Tripe to approve amended budget ($1,000,000 in the Building Fund), as presented at open and public hearing, due to the building renovation and construction of the new Ag/Shop building. After discussion and on roll call vote the Board voted as follows: Passed.

A motion was made by Scott Prickett and seconded by Lori Tripe to pay late arriving bills that need to be paid in the current fiscal year. After discussion and on roll call vote the Board voted as follows: Passed.

A motion was made by Lori Tripe and seconded by Janna Tripe to zero out balances in Activity Fund from the General Fund. (Itemization attached.). After discussion and on roll call vote the Board voted as follows: Passed.

A motion was made by Scott Prickett and seconded by Jerry Kovarik to approve transfer of funds Depreciation Fund if balances allow after paying year-end expenditures. After discussion and on roll call vote the Board voted as follows: Passed.

A motion was made by Jerry Kovarik and seconded by Janna Tripe to approve progress payment #3 to Duncan Theis Construction, for $263, 253.60, from the Building fund. After discussion and on roll call vote the Board voted as follows: Passed.
