October 9, 2017 at 7:00 PM - REGULAR MONTHLY MEETING OF THE BOARD OF EDUCATION

A motion was made by Janna Tripe and seconded by Jerry Kovarik to approve consent agenda items. After discussion and on roll call vote the Board voted as follows: Passed.

A motion was made by Jerry Kovarik and seconded by Brett Hammond to approve the receipts, expenditures, and payment of claims from the General Fund for $389,381.65 and from Activity Fund for $$20,133.51. After discussion and on roll call vote the Board voted as follows: Passed.

A motion was made by Brett Hammond and seconded by Janna Tripe to pay $141,783.50 for progress payment #5. (Discussed errors and costs per each change orders. Scott not in favor of Change Orders #5 or# 11. Change orders #4,9,10,11, & 12 are included in $141,783.50 billed currently). After discussion and on roll call vote the Board voted as follows: Passed.

A motion was made by Janna Tripe and seconded by Jerry Kovarik to accept donation from CHS-Holdrege for $2,500.00 and CHS-Corporate Office for $2,500.00 through the CHS Seeds of Stewardship Grant program. After discussion and on roll call vote the Board voted as follows: Passed.

A motion was made by Brett Hammond and seconded by Scott Prickett to approve softball coop with Southern Valley for another 2 year period. After discussion and on roll call vote the Board voted as follows: Passed.
