November 13, 2017 at 7:00 PM - REGULAR MONTHLY MEETING OF THE BOARD OF EDUCATION

A motion was made by Brett Hammond and seconded by Jerry Kovarik to approve the consent agenda. After discussion and on roll call vote the Board voted as follows: Passed.

A motion was made by Janna Tripe and seconded by Jerry Kovarik to approve the receipts, expenditures, and payment of claims from the General Fund for $395,352.45, from Activity Fund for $19,138.07, and from the Building Fund for $366,245.45. After discussion and on roll call vote the Board voted as follows: Passed.

A motion was made by Scott Prickett and seconded by Janna Tripe to to approve use of facilities by BRAN. After discussion and on roll call vote the Board voted as follows: Passed.

A motion was made by Scott Prickett and seconded by Brett Hammond to go into executive session to discuss negotiations. After discussion and on roll call vote the Board voted as follows: Passed.

A motion was made by Lori Tripe and seconded by Janna Tripe to close executive session and reconvene regular meeting. After discussion and on roll call vote the Board voted as follows: Passed.

A motion was made by Lori Tripe and seconded by Janna Tripe to to approve the audit report. After discussion and on roll call vote the Board voted as follows: Passed.

A motion was made by Jerry Kovarik and seconded by Lori Tripe to to approve a tax refund of $933.27 from collections of school funds as ordered by the Nebraska Tax Equalization and Review Commission finding on a reduction in valuation on a property as per State Statute 77-1736.06. After discussion and on roll call vote the Board voted as follows: Passed.
