3.A. Provide a recommendation to the City Council on authorizing the submission of grant applications for new lane ropes for the Wildwood Pool.

Discussion:
City Administrator Tom Ourada informed the Committee that the swim team coach, Tina Rockenbach, is willing to write grant applications for the pool, but would like to be paid for her time spent on writing them. The lane ropes currently at the pool are needing to be replaced.

Discussion:
City Administrator Tom Ourada brought up a few different options for placement of the proposed Tuxedo Park softball, baseball, and soccer fields. With the number of fields desired, there is a definite need for more space than Tuxedo provides. Ourada recommends the sports complex being built on separate property, where there will be plenty of room for multiple fields. However, Tuxedo Park will still be upgraded and improved.
