3.A. Discuss adding "Old Mill Park Pumpkin Patch" signs to Old Mill Park.
Discussion:
City Administrator Tom Ourada explained that the "pumpkin keeper" requested to add signs for the pumpkin patch at Old Mill Park, which requires a sign permit. The sign will be placed above the entrance to the pumpkin patch and will read "Old Mill Park Pumpkin Patch." The Committee decided to make a motion to move forward with the signage.

3.B. Discuss (1) the recreational programming that will be managed by Crete Public Schools and (2) reinstating a Recreation Coordinator.
Discussion:
City Administrator Tom Ourada reported having a meeting with the school regarding them not changing their recreational programming as previously discussed. The City has now decided to continue with all of its recreational programs and improve them wherever possible. The plan is to reinstate Dan Dunaway as the Recreational Coordinator, the position which the Personnel Committee recommended bringing back.

3.C. Discuss acquiring new park property for softball, baseball, and soccer fields.
Discussion:
City Administrator Tom Ourada informed the Committee that the owners of a property south of town are interested in selling. The amount of property and the price they'd sell for is still unknown. The Committee recommends moving forward and inquiring about those numbers from the property owners to see if it's a fair price and that it will be well suited for the proposed softball, baseball, and soccer fields.
