3.A. Consider a recommendation to the City Council on Ordinance 2191 to mandate all sidewalks be constructed five feet wide. 
Discussion:
City Administrator, Tom Ourada, discussed how the discussion went with the Planning Commission and how he explained how the planner recommended it and how it is a Federal Highway standard. Tom, explained when looking at this, it has to be seen as an obligation, State and Federal laws, codes and ordinances, regulations, and community expectations to meet. Federal guidelines indicate 5 foot minimum sidewalks, and with Federal Aide projects that the City would have. Tom also stated that over the years, sidewalks will self-correct themselves when 4-foot and 5-foot sidewalks are to meet.

Recommendation was made to the City Council on Ordinance 2191 to mandate all sidewalks be constructed five feet wide. Carried with a motion by Dan Papik and a second by Anthony Fitzgerald.

Discussion:
City Administrator, Tom Ouradad stated that this will follow with what the current standard will be. City Attorney, Anna Burge, also added that it is so it won't have to be amended every time.

Recommendation was made to the City Council on Ordinance 2192 for sidewalks to be built according to current standards in a form of a motion. Carried with a motion by Dan Papik and a second by Anthony Fitzgerald.

3.C. Consider a recommendation to the City Council on the Airport Engineer.
Discussion:
City Administrator, Tom Ourada, recommended Olsson as the Airport Engineer. Tom explained that when looking at both companies, Olsson scored a bit higher than Kirk & Michael.

Recommendation was made to the City Council as Olsson Associates as the Airport Engineer. Carried with a motion by Dan Papik and a second by Anthony Fitzgerald.
