Discussion:
Shestak reported that he and President Stastny met with Terri Brown and Jodie Schlacke, who live on properties adjoining the Blue Valley Cemetery, and expressed the following concerns: washout, tree stumps, pillars at the entrance need to be rerouted, trash cans need to be emptied more regularly, hunting, poaching, fireworks tabing place.
City Administrator Tom Ourada stated that illegal activities can be reported to the Saline County Sheriff's Office. Since this property belongs tot he CIty, it can be posted. It would be better to grind the tree stumps than remove them so that they won't disturb any graves. Due to Memorial Day Holiday, the next meeting will be May 20th, 2024 at 4:00 p.m. |
