Scott Kuncl motioned, and Janet Jeffries seconded to approve the amended meeting minutes.

Janet Jeffries motioned and Scott Kuncl seconded to approve the mission statement. 

Jennifer Robison motioned, and Janet Jeffries seconded to reconsider the vote. 

There was discussion to remove the comma after the word capacity. 

Scott Kuncl motioned and Jennifer Robison seconded to approve the mission statement and to delete the comma.

Scott Kuncl motioned and Jennifer Robison seconded to accept the draft plan for the CLG application. 

City Administrator Tom Ourada stated that he will be submitting the plan to the state.

Rationale:
  • Citizen testimony may be limited to 3 minutes per person.

Discussion:
City Administrator and Historic Preservation Commission Director Tom Ourada stated that the commission members will need to become familiar with the Historic Preservation Ordinance. 

Ourada stated that the Historic Preservation Commission members can start with discussing the application. The Director is who creates the application by ordinance. 

Jennifer Robison asked Ourada and City Attorney Anna Burge if they can give a presentation on the Ordinance. 

Janet Jeffries stated she would like to present a slide show to educate the team. 

Ourada offered the following schedule:

Discussion on the Ordinance for the November meeting. 
Slide show presentation for the December meeting. 

The next meeting will be on Tuesday, November 26th at 7 p.m.
