Howard Nitzel motioned to approve March 12th, 2026 minutes and Greg Hier seconded the motion.

3.B. Olsson's bid recommendation 
Discussion:
City Administrator Tom Ourada explained that the bid opening was on March 26th, 2026 at 2:00 p.m.  Chris Corr Lead Engineer with Olsson did the evaluations 3 out of the 4 bidders wanted exclusion of the Buy American Certification and the low bid was one of them. Corr is checking on that and the rest was in order. The bid was below the engineers recommendation and are asking that it be awarded to Casper Construction Co. Beatrice, NE. 
Airport Manager Samantha Haack stated that she spoke with Corr and he stated that Casper comes in at a lower bid since they do a lot of the work in house. City Administrator Tom Ourada stated that Casper Construction also came in lower on the Alternate Bid. Ourada stated the Chris Corr will be meeting with the State Fire Marshall.

Ourada stated that things are moving forward with the beacon. Ourada stated that fuel prices were raised.

Airport Manager Samantha Haack stated that there are two people on the waiting list one local and one out of town. 
Haack stated that a sight gauge broke and will be replaced
