2.g. Approval of Approval of Final Pay Request #3 in the amount of $54,315.95 to Schoen’s Roofing for the Beatrice Municipal Airport Roof Bids project.

2.h. Resolution Number 7234 granting permission to Community Players, Inc., and their designees, permission to serve alcoholic beverages and to sell or offer for sale or peddle goods, wares, or merchandise upon the City Property located in the City Auditorium on Saturday, March 23, 2024, from 6:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., as part of their Adult Prom fundraiser.

2.i. Resolution Number 7235 reappointing Sherrie Beekman to the Beatrice Housing Authority Board.

2.j. Resolution Number 7236 reappointing Susan Hartley to the Beatrice Housing Authority Board.

2.k. Resolution Number 7237 executing the Agreement with Central Community College to provide clinical educational services for students attending educational programs for Health Sciences through Central Community College.

2.l. Resolution Number 7238 adopting and approving the executing of an Agency Agreement with the Nebraska Department of Transportation, Division of Aeronautics, for Project No. 3-31-009-022-2024 to be submitted to the Federal Aviation Administration to obtain federal assistance for the Beatrice Apron and Reconstruction of Taxiway “C” at the Beatrice Municipal Airport.

2.m. Resolution Number 7239 adopting and approving the executing of an Agency Agreement with the Nebraska Department of Transportation, Division of Aeronautics, for Project No. 3-31-009-023-2024 to be submitted to the Federal Aviation Administration to obtain federal assistance for the fuel system project at the Beatrice Municipal Airport.

2.n. Resolution Number 7240 entering into a Hangar Lease with Kim Jordening for the purpose of leasing Hangar B-6 located at the Beatrice Municipal Airport.

2.o. Resolution Number 7241 adopting the revised Beatrice Public Library Handbook.

3. PUBLIC HEARINGS/BIDS

3.a. Public Hearing for the purpose of considering the application of the City of Beatrice for annexation of property owned by the City, commonly referred to as the Schwartzkopf property located adjacent to the Gage County Industrial Park, Gage County Parcel ID#: 004148000.

3.b. Public Hearing for the purpose of considering the rezoning of All of Blocks 12 & 13, Riverside Park Addition, Beatrice, Gage County, Nebraska; and Lots 7-10, inclusive, and Lots 11-13, Block 19, Riverside Park Addition, Beatrice, Gage County, Nebraska, from General Commercial (GC) to Residential Commercial (RC) District.

4. RESOLUTIONS

4.a. Resolution Number 7242 executing any and all necessary documents to release and discharge Birchwood Estates Retirement Village, LLC, Bryan Mellage, L. Joe Stehlik, and Jason Finch, regarding the LB840 Economic Development Loan.

4.b. Resolution Number ­­­7243 executing any and all requests for reconveyances, deeds of partial reconveyance, and any and all other documents necessary to reconvey Parcel 2 to Nicholas and Hannah Bell, as part of A & N Dog Boarding, LLC’s LB840 Loan.

4.c. Resolution Number ­­­7244 entering into a loan agreement with Michael S. Schaefer and Shelley R. Schaefer, for direct financial assistance for a façade improvement at the building located at 615 Court Street.

5. ORDINANCES

5.a. Ordinance on the proposed annexation of property owned by the City, commonly referred to as the Schwartzkopf property located adjacent to the Gage County Industrial Park, Gage County Parcel ID#: 004148000.

5.b. Ordinance amending the Zoning Map for the City of Beatrice, Nebraska by changing the zoning of the property legally described as:  All of Blocks 12 & 13, Riverside Park Addition, Beatrice, Gage County, Nebraska; and Lots 7-10, inclusive, and Lots 11-13, Block 19, Riverside Park Addition, Beatrice, Gage County, Nebraska, from General Commercial (GC) to Residential Commercial (RC) District.

5.c. Ordinance vacating all of Block 4, 5, and 12, in Green’s Addition to Belvedere Heights, and vacating and closing portions of Bluff Street, Marlborough Avenue, Swarthmore Avenue, Edgmont Avenue, and adjacent alleys, all in Green’s Addition to Belvedere Heights, located northwest of Belvedere Street and Center Street.

5.d. Ordinance conveying real estate owned by the City to Jay A. DeBoer.
