4.h. Award of bid for the Lift Station #6 Rehabilitation Project to Philip Carkoski Construction and Trenching in the amount of $547,785.00, as recommended by the Board of Public Works.

Resolution Number 7316 executing Amendment #2 to the Agreement dated August 7, 2023, between the City of Beatrice, Nebraska, and Olsson, Inc., in order to retain Olsson for additional construction observation services related to the repair and rehabilitation of Lift Station #6, as recommended by the Board of Public Works.

4.j. Resolution Number 7317 executing an Agreement for Professional Services between the City and JEO Consulting Group, Inc., to provide construction engineering and inspection services for the 33rd and Lincoln Street reconstruction project, as recommended by the Board of Public Works.

4.k. Resolution Number 7318 approving and accepting the bid submitted by Vogts Parga Construction, LLC, to reconstruct Taxiway “C” & Apron, subject to and contingent upon the FAA’s concurrence in award and offer of an Airport Improvement Program grant, as recommended by the Airport Advisory Board.

4.l. Resolution Number 7319 entering into a Hangar Lease with CB Flying, LLC, for the purpose of leasing Hangar B-4 located at the Beatrice Municipal Airport.

4.m. Resolution Number 7320 entering into a Hangar Lease with Farabee Mechanical, Inc., for the purpose of leasing Hangar D-6 located at the Beatrice Municipal Airport.

4.n. Resolution Number 7321 entering into a Hangar Lease with Farabee Mechanical, Inc., for the purpose of leasing Hangar D-7 located at the Beatrice Municipal Airport.

4.o. Resolution Number 7322 entering into a Hangar Lease with Paul Selivanoff for the purpose of leasing Hangar B-2 located at the Beatrice Municipal Airport.

4.p. Resolution Number 7323 entering into a Hangar Lease with Savannah Rose, LLC, for the purpose of leasing Hangar E-5 located at the Beatrice Municipal Airport.

5. PUBLIC HEARINGS/BIDS

5.a. Public Hearing for the purpose of considering the rezoning of Lot Four (4), Block Twenty-Two (22), Wittenberg’s Addition, City of Beatrice, Gage County, Nebraska, commonly known as 1911 Ella Street, from “GC” General Commercial District to “R-2” Single-Family Residential District.

6. RESOLUTIONS

6.a. Resolution Number 7324 executing the General Release, Request for Reconveyance, and the Deed of Reconveyance, along with all other necessary documents to terminate the Deed of Trust release and discharge Mama Bear Dens, LLC, regarding the LB840 Loan Agreement between the City and Mama Bear Dens, LLC, Curt Hagerman, and Jay Hagerman.

7. ORDINANCES

7.a. Ordinance amending the Zoning Map for the City of Beatrice, Nebraska by changing the zoning of the property legally described as: Lot Four (4), Block Twenty-Two (22), Wittenberg’s Addition, City of Beatrice, Gage County, Nebraska, commonly known as 1911 Ella Street, from “GC” General Commercial District to “R-2” Single-Family Residential District.

7.b. Ordinance Number 24-16, second reading, on the proposed annexation of property owned by the Beatrice Cemetery Association, Gage County Parcel No. 004240000, and Gage County Parcel No. 004241200 now platted as Lot Two (2) Haner Subdivision, Gage County, Nebraska. 

7.c. Ordinance Number 24-17, second reading, on the proposed annexation of Gage County Parcel No. 005039000, commonly known as 2876 West Belvedere Road, and that portion thereof now platted as Lot One (1), DeBoer’s Addition, Gage County, Nebraska.

7.d. Ordinance Number 24-18, second reading, on the proposed annexation of Gage County Parcel No. 005039000, commonly known as 2876 West Belvedere Road, less that portion thereof now platted as Lot One (1), DeBoer’s Addition, Gage County, Nebraska.
